| وَتَلْتَمِسُونَنِي فَتَجِدُونَنِي إِذْ تَطْلُبُونَنِي بِكُلِّ قُلُوبِكُمْ. | You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. |
| الرَّبُّ مَعَكُمْ مَابَرِحْتُمْ مَعَهَ، فَإِنْ طَلَبْتُمُوهُ يُوْجَدْ لَكُمْ، وَإِنْ تَخَلَّيْتُمْ عَنْهُ يَنْبِذْكُمْ. | The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. |
| اطْلُبُوا الرَّبَّ وَقُوَّتَهُ؛ الْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِماً. | Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. |
| يَا اللهُ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي وَإِيَّاكَ أَطْلُبُ بَاكِراً. عَطِشَتْ إِلَيْكَ نَفْسِي وَيَشْتَاقُ إِلَيْكَ جِسْمِي فِي أَرْضٍ قَاحِلَةٍ يَابِسَةٍ لَا مَاءَ فِيهَا. | You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. |
| اِسْأَلُوا، تُعْطَوْا. اُطْلُبُوا، تَجِدُوا. اِقْرَعُوا، يُفْتَحْ لَكُمْ. | Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. |
| ابْتَهِجْ بِالرَّبِّ فَيَمْنَحَكَ بُغْيَةَ قَلْبِكَ. | Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. |
| الْتَمَسْتُ الرَّبَّ فَأَجَابَنِي، وأَنْقَذَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ مَخَاوِفِي. | I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. |
| وَيَتَّكِلُ عَلَيْكَ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَ اسْمَكَ، لأَنَّكَ يَا رَبُّ لَمْ تَخْذِلْ طَالِبِيكَ. | Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. |
| اطْلُبُوا الرَّبَّ وَقُوَّتَهُ، الْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِماً. | Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. |
| اطْلُبُوا الرَّبَّ مَادَامَ مَوْجُوداً، ادْعُوهُ وَهُوَ قَرِيبٌ. | Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. |
| لأَنَّ هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ لِبَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: الْتَمِسُونِي فَتَحْيَوْا. | This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.” |
| فَإِنَّ ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ قَدْ جَاءَ لِيَبْحَثَ عَنِ الْهَالِكِينَ وَيُخَلِّصَهُمْ. | For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. |
| قَدْ أَعْلَنْتُ ذَاتِي لِمَنْ لَمْ يَسْأَلُوا عَنِّي، وَوَجَدَنِي مَنْ لَمْ يَطْلُبْنِي، وَقُلْتُ: ’هَأَنَذَا‘ لأُمَّةٍ لَمْ تَدْعُ بِاسْمِي. | I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ |
| طُوبَى لِمَنْ يَحْفَظُونَ وَصَايَا الرَّبِّ، الَّذِينَ يَطْلُبُونَهُ بِكُلِّ الْقَلْبِ. | Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. |
| مَنْ عَثَرَ عَلَى زَوْجَةٍ صَالِحَةٍ نَالَ خَيْراً وَحَظِيَ بِمَرْضَاةِ اللهِ. | He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. |
| يَا رَبُّ قَدْ فَحَصْتَنِي وَعَرَفْتَنِي. أَنْتَ عَرَفْتَ قُعُودِي وَقِيَامِي. فَهِمْتَ فِكْرِي مِنْ بَعِيدٍ. | You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. |
| تَحْتَاجُ الأَشْبَالُ وَتَجُوعُ، وَأَمَّا طَالِبُو الرَّبِّ فَلَا يُعْوِزُهُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ. | The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. |
| اطْلُبُوا الْخَيْرَ لَا الشَّرَّ لِتَحْيَوْا، فَيَكُونَ الرَّبُّ الإِلَهُ الْقَدِيرُ مَعَكُمْ كَمَا تَقُولُونَ. | Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. |
| وَخِتَاماً، تَشَدَّدُوا فِي الرَّبِّ وَفِي قُدْرَةِ قُوَّتِهِ. | Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. |
| فَمِنَ الْمُسْتَحِيلِ إِرْضَاءَ اللهِ بِدُونِ إِيمَانٍ. إِذْ إِنَّ مَنْ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللهِ، لابُدَّ لَهُ أَنْ يُؤْمِنَ بِأَنَّهُ مَوْجُودٌ، وَبِأَنَّهُ يُكَافِئُ الَّذِينَ يَسْعَوْنَ إِلَيْهِ. | And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. |
| لِذَلِكَ الْتَمِسِ الْحِكْمَةَ لِنَفْسِكَ، فَإِذَا وَجَدْتَهَا تَحْظَى بِالثَّوَابِ وَلا يَخِيبُ رَجَاؤُكَ. | Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. |
| وَأَسْلُكَ فِي رَحَابَةِ الْحُرِّيَّةِ، لأَنِّي الْتَمَسْتُ أَوَامِرَكَ. | I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. |
