Colossians - NASB & NIV

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
In addition to all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
