Ecclesiastes 1 - NCB & NASB

For much wisdom can result in much sorrow, and those who increase their knowledge also increase their grief.

Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.

and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
