So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:26-27	So, if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing. grace righteousness law
No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. John 1:18	No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known. Father nearness
I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come. So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love. Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.” Mark 8:34	He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” salvation following selfishness
God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9	God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. calling reliability God

Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. John 12:26	Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor. serving following Father
Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. John 6:56	Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them. body blood nearness
Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires. Romans 13:14	Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. desires addiction body
So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
