Law (2/5)

This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe. For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged.Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.
“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and every other commandment are all summed up in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
He proclaimed his covenant to you which he ordered you to fulfill, the Ten Commandments, that he wrote upon two tablets of stone. He declared to you his covenant, which he charged you to observe, that is, the ten commandments; and he wrote them on two stone tablets.
Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves. You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks.Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.
We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances.
Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts.Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.
A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief. The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.
I rejoice in following your statutes more than I would rejoice in endless riches.I delight in the way of your decrees as much as in all riches.
You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.
Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard?Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
This is the end of my teaching. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for that is the responsibility of everyone. The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone.
However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does. But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act—they will be blessed in their doing.
Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace. You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
Never will I forget your commands, for through them you have given me life.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.

The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
