Life (3/6)

I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way to death. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever follows perverse ways will be found out.He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Remember your creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come, and the years draw near when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
