And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? Matthew 7:3	And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? sin judgment

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7	Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. reward seeking receiving
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12	Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. law neighbor relationships
You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13-14	Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. eternal life salvation
Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. Matthew 7:15	Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. second coming prophecy clothing
Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. Matthew 7:21	Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. obedience salvation kingdom
