« Philippians 2:3 »
New Internation VersionKing James Version
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
