Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech. | Put away from yourself a perverse mouth. Put corrupt lips far from you. |
Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. | Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. |
Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. | Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established. |
Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil. | Don’t turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil. |
