Bible Verses about Rest

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.
I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
Thus says the Lord: Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, “We will not walk in it.”This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’”
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters. The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers. The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.
Observe the sabbath day and keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, or your son or your daughter, or your male or female slave, or your ox or your donkey, or any of your livestock, or the resident alien in your towns, so that your male and female slave may rest as well as you.Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your oxen and donkeys and other livestock, and any foreigners living among you. All your male and female servants must rest as you do.
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
