For by works of the law no human being will be justified… Romans 3:20

For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20	For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. sin law righteousness
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction. Romans 3:21-22	But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. faith law righteousness

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24	For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight.
