Salvation (4/4)

Help us, O God, our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and wipe away our sins for your name’s sake.Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.
My life is in your hands; deliver me from the power of my enemies, from the clutches of those who pursue me.My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
Blessed be the Lord, day after day, the God of our salvation, who carries our burden. SelahPraise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Dear children, you are from God and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
In my anguish I cried out; the Lord heard my plea, and I was saved from all my troubles. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.
But I with hymns of praise will offer sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will fulfill. Salvation comes from the Lord. But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise, and I will fulfill all my vows. For my salvation comes from the Lord alone.
Such godly sorrow results in repentance that leads to salvation and causes no regret, whereas worldly sorrow produces death. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Therefore, the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from their trials and to hold the wicked for punishment until the Day of Judgment. So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
O Lord, grant us salvation. O Lord, grant us success. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord. Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord.
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save or to destroy. Who then are you to pass judgment on a neighbor?God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?
Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior. For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.
Let your face shine upon your servant; save me in your kindness.Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me.
And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, my own special possession on the day when I act, and I will have compassion on them as a father has compassion on the son who serves him.“They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child.”

Bible verse of the day

It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.

You who abide in the shelter of the Most High,
who rest in the shadow of the Almighty,
say to the Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I place my trust.”
