Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. | Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. |
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. | Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. |
Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. | O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch. |
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. | There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling. |

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. | May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus. |
For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. | For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human. |
No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. |

Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. | Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth. |
Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. | For just as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. |
No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. | There is no Holy One like the Lord, no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. |
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. | For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. |
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. | I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. |
