| But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. | But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
| For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost. | For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. |

| Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News, but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.” | And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. |
| And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.” | The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. |
| When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes? | When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes? |
| Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. | Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. |
| It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
| Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. | Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. |
