Haughtiness goes before destruction; humility precedes honor. Proverbs 18:12	Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility. humility pride
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain. grace righteousness law
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7	Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. love neighbor friendship
Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything. Proverbs 13:3	He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction. speaking wisdom life

For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Romans 3:20	Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. sin law righteousness

Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3	So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. suffering Word of God life

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8	Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. trust blessing fruitfulness
For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6	For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Word of God wisdom
Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor. Proverbs 15:33	The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility. humility awe wisdom
Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. Romans 13:1	Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. trust God obedience
May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. 2 Thessalonians 3:5	Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. love transformation following
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:15	And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Jesus peace gratitude

Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! Proverbs 15:23	A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! speaking joy
Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey’s colt. For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil; joy fills hearts that are planning peace! Proverbs 12:20	Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy. evil joy peace
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord. Ephesians 6:4	And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. law family children

Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen!

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
