Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. | Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker. |

Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. | Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. |
The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. | The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked will perish. |
Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. | It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment. |
O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. | In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness. |
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” | Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. |
He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! | He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! |
The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. |
The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. | Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. |
O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever. | ‘Return, you backsliding Israel,’ says Yahweh; ‘I will not look in anger on you, for I am merciful,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will not keep anger forever.’ |
And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! | Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. |
