| And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. | By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. |
| He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. | And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. | Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. |
| No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. | No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him. |

But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. |
