| And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.” | And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. |
| And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him. | And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. |
| This also comes from the Lord of armies, Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. | This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. |
| Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God. | Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. |

| Like a city that is broken into and without walls So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. | He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. |
| Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. | Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. |
| So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned. | And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing. |
| For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf. | For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. |

| All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. | All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. |
| Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. | Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. |
| Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. | Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. | By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. | In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. |
| Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works. | Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. |

| For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. | For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. |
