Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. | Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. | If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. | For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. |
Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. | Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. |
What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it! | What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. |
Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. | Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. |

You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. | If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. |
Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. | And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |
And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.” | And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. |
Brothers and sisters, even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. | Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. |
From the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way. | Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. |
And He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed. | Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. |

But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints. | But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints. |
