If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. James 2:17	So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. faith life following
No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known. John 1:18	No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. Jesus Father nearness
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near. Matthew 3:2	Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. repentance kingdom heaven
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! 2 Corinthians 5:17	This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! creation Jesus rebirth
He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11	Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. creation understanding life
And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. Romans 5:5	And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. hope heart Spirit
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9	That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” love reward
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. 1 John 4:18	Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. love fear punishment
Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same intention (for whoever has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin). 1 Peter 4:1	So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24	This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. creation joy life
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends. John 15:13	There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. love sacrifice friendship
But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises. Hebrews 8:6	But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.
