Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And I wait for His word.
Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all.
When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me.
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning, For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my hope is from Him.
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”

But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside.But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.
