| Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. | In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. |

| Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” | Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” |
| Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? | Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. |
| For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. | For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. |
