By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit. | By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. |
The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. | Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. |

So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. | If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. |
And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister. | And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. |

I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one. | I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. |

Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. | No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. |
I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. | I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. |
