And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham.Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless.The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God.Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.
And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all.
For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does.For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth.

Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
