Lifting the veil (4/4)

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment. So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh. He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth.
Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people.
If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
They set up over his head the accusation against him written, “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it. For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.
This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.
Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.
He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments—on the stone tablets.
My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will condense as the dew, as the misty rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.Let my teaching fall on you like rain; let my speech settle like dew. Let my words fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants.
When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

God will bless us. All the ends of the earth shall fear him.Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation.”And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers.
For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’For the Lord gave us this command when he said, ‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’
