Long for you (2/4)

For you know that the testing of your faith will develop perseverance.Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
Ah, Lord God, you made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm. Nothing is impossible for you.Ah Lord God! It is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires.In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and your renown are the soul's desire.
In peace I lie down and sleep, for only with your help, O Lord, can I rest secure.I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.
Then he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which will be given for you. Do this in memory of me.”Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. Because in my eyes you are precious, because you are honored and I love you, I will give people in exchange for you and nations in return for your life.Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.
Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you.Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you.
But I will sing of your strength; when morning dawns, I will proclaim your kindness. For you have been my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.But I will sing of your might; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been a fortress for me and a refuge in the day of my distress.

For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase.We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.
Truly, you bless the righteous, O Lord; you surround them with your goodwill as with a shield.For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.
Continue in all of the ways that the Lord, your God, has commanded you. Continue in them so that you may live and prosper and that you may long dwell on the land of your inheritance.You must follow exactly the path that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you are to possess.
Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
I am pulled in opposite directions. My desire is to depart and to be with Christ, for that is far better, but, it is a more urgent need for you that I remain in the body.I am hard pressed between the two: my desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better; but to remain in the flesh is more necessary for you.
O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, filled with kindness for all who cry to you.For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading to fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, “Abba! Father!”For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Whatever moves and has life will be used for your food. I give you all these things, just as I have already given you every green plant. Only do not eat flesh along with its life, that is, with its blood.Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
