And he also gave some to his companions.” Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. | But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. | What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? | For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? |
