| Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where they will be destroyed by moth and rust and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up treasure for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves cannot break in and steal. | Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. |

| No one can serve two masters. For you will either hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other. | Gaze upon the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of far greater value than they? | Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? |
| Rather, seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. | But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. |
| So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own. | Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. |
| Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged. | Judge not, that you be not judged. |
