Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Romans 6:1-2	What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it? sin grace life
“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Ephesians 3:16-17	I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. faith love Spirit

Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Ephesians 6:11	Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. equipment evil protection
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29	Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear. speaking gossip goodness
Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.” Hosea 14:2	Take words with you and return to the Lord; say to him, “Take away all guilt; accept that which is good, and we will offer the fruit of our lips.” conversion forgiveness
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18	Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise. wisdom world selfishness
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward. 2 John 1:8	Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward. reward self-control work
Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or hides it under a bed. A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. Luke 8:16	No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light. honesty holiness light
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 2 Corinthians 9:8	And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. blessing worrying goodness
I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. Colossians 2:2	I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself.
