| Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels? | Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? |
| My son, comply with the commandment of your father, And do not ignore the teaching of your mother. | My child, keep your father's commandment, and do not forsake your mother's teaching. |
| I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. | I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. |
| Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. | Get wisdom; get insight: do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. |
