Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. Isaiah 40:28	Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us. 1 Kings 8:57	May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us. nearness reliability family
All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine. Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:20-21	For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. prophecy Spirit speaking
And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. James 1:13	No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. temptation desires understanding
Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! Romans 12:16	Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. humility community dependence
One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through some grainfields, his disciples began breaking off heads of grain to eat. But the Pharisees said to Jesus, “Look, why are they breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath?” Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He went into the house of God (during the days when Abiathar was high priest) and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. He also gave some to his companions.” Then Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath. Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Romans 6:15	What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it! sin grace law
I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. Psalm 139:7-8	Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. Spirit heaven death
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. John 1:5	And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it. evil overcoming light
That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long. Psalm 71:8	My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long. speaking worship praise
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:10	And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. trust seeking reliability
And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins. Hebrews 8:12	For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings, And their sins I will no longer remember. forgiveness sin grace
Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” Romans 7:7	What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” sin law desires
It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 1 Corinthians 13:6-7	It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. love truth evil
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. John 14:16	I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever. comforter Holy Spirit Father
But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6	But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. trust faith prayer
I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes. Acts 20:20	How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was beneficial, and teaching you publicly and from house to house. learning evangelism
Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7	Certainly the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret plan To His servants the prophets. prophecy planning reliability
And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there. Isaiah 35:8	A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for the one who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it. holiness
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 2 Corinthians 4:16	Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day. beauty encouragement receiving
Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way. James 3:2	For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to rein in the whole body as well. blameless speaking body

How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!

For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
