Proverbs 3:5 (3/6)

The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke.The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase.Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies.A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
In all labor there is profit, But idle chatter leads only to poverty.In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

A fool despises his father’s instruction, But he who receives correction is prudent.A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, Than great treasure with trouble.Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established.Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility.The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice.Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
