Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase.Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
