Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.

A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.Fools show their anger at once, but the prudent ignore an insult.
Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace.Deceit is in the mind of those who plan evil, but those who counsel peace have joy.
Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight.Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.

The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.The hand of the diligent will rule, while the lazy will be put to forced labor.
