| My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. | Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. |
| For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. | For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. |
| What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? | What is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him? |
| I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. | I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works. |

| The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. | Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble. |
| And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. | Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. |
| Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. | Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. |
| But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. | But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me. |
| He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. | He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man. |
