Psalm 16:1 (3/9)

I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all.The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security.Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Better is a little that the righteous person has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous are generous and keep giving. The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.
Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way.The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.
For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his faithful ones. The righteous shall be kept safe forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.
O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; do not hold your peace at my tears. For I am your passing guest, an alien, like all my forebears.Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.
I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.
Do not, O Lord, withhold your mercy from me; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep me safe forever.Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
