Bible Verses about Righteousness

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life and honor.Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.

See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all.Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly.For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers.Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.
