The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly. Psalm 146:8	Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. sickness healing righteousness
The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. Psalm 146:9	Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down. protection orphans widows
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Psalm 147:3	He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. healing heart sickness
For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Psalm 149:4	For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation. humility joy blessing
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6	Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah! worship praise
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. Psalm 1:1	Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers. sin righteousness blessing
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. Psalm 3:3	But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. dependence overcoming protection

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8	In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety. safety rest peace
Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3	Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. prayer patience listening

What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Psalm 8:4	What is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him? blessing humility grace

The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9	Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble. protection safety
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:10	Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. trust seeking reliability
Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless! Psalm 10:12	Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. prayer neighbor poverty
But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. Psalm 13:5-6	But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me. trust worship heart
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Psalm 15:2-3	He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man. truth blameless gossip
Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. Psalm 16:1	Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you. trust dependence protection
I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” Psalm 16:2	My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.” God worship
I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:8	I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. dependence equipment protection
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16:11	You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. joy life nearness

I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

I love you, Yahweh, my strength. Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
