Romans (2/4)

What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!
So that I may come to you in joy by the will of God and relax in your company. Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other.
For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.
For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow, And every tongue will give praise to God.”For the Scriptures say, “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’”
For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus.May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
