He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may take refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and wall.With his feathers he will shelter you, and you will take refuge under his wings; his faithfulness serves as a protective shield.
In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me.In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”Then he said to all who were with him, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.You will again show us compassion and wash away our guilt; you will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.
“Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?”Do I derive any pleasure from the death of the wicked? asks the Lord God. Would I not rather rejoice to see them turn away from their wickedness and live?
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’For I, the Lord, am your God and I grasp your right hand. It is I who say to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Therefore know today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.So today acknowledge it and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.
When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow!When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill the vow you have made.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.Therefore, put on the armor of God, so that you will be able to hold fast on the evil day and to hold your ground with all your strength.
Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.
Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.Dearly beloved, never seek revenge. Leave that to the time of retribution. For it is written, “Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. I will repay.”

Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.”
For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these.
Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.
As he came naked from his mother’s womb, so he will return as he came. He will take nothing from the fruit of his labor that he can carry in his hand.Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb, so shall he depart, naked as he came, with nothing remaining from his labor that he can carry away in his hands.

My footsteps have not strayed from the path he established; I have followed his way and never turned aside.
How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of mankind!How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.The Lord God said, “Behold, man has become like one of us, for he has knowledge of that which is good and that which is evil. Now, we must prevent him from reaching out and taking the fruit of the tree of life lest he eat it and live forever.” The Lord God cast him out of the Garden of Eden; henceforth he was to labor tilling the soil from which he had come.

“I love You, Lord, my strength.” The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I love you, O Lord, my strength, O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
But I say to you, take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.But what I tell you is this: Do not swear at all, either by heaven, since it is God’s throne, or by earth, since that is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, since that is the city of the great King.

And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”Then he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which will be given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
