For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. | But I will sing of your might; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been a fortress for me and a refuge in the day of my distress. |
| Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. | Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble. | Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. |
| Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. | Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. |
