| But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.” | But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. |

| The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like deer’s feet, And has me walk on my high places. | The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. |
| The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. | The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. |

| And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.” | And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. | And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” | And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. |
| Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; be careful about what you do, for the Lord our God will have no part in injustice or partiality, or in the taking of a bribe. | Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts. |
| But the one who did not know it, and committed acts deserving of a beating, will receive only a few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. | But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. |
| “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and put Me to the test now in this,” says the Lord of armies, “if I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.” | Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. |
| What is desirable in a person is his kindness, And it is better to be a poor person than a liar. | The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. |

| There is a way which seems right to a person, But its end is the way of death. | There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. |
| Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people. | Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. |
| The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears And rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit. | The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. |
| The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing, But the name of the wicked will rot. | The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. |
| A fool’s anger is known at once, But a prudent person conceals dishonor. | A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. |
