So now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God require of… Deuteronomy 10:12-13

So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being. Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked shall continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate. Proverbs 8:13	The fear of the Lord implies hatred of evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil ways and perverse speech. awe pride evil
The Lord watches over the strangers; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. Psalm 146:9	The Lord watches over the stranger and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he blocks the way of the wicked. protection orphans widows
Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom. James 3:13	Who among you is wise and understanding? Prove by your good life that your works are done with the humility that comes from wisdom. humility wisdom life

Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly.

For the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to the entire human race. It teaches us to reject godless ways and worldly desires, and in the present age to lead lives that are temperate, just, and godly.
