Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.”
And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’
And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever.And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God.
He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.
But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.
A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water.The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
Like a city breached, without walls, is one who lacks self-control.A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.
Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
To get wisdom is to love oneself; to keep understanding is to prosper.To acquire wisdom is to love yourself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.
The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.
Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again.Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.
The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who begets a wise son will be glad in him.The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise.
Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle, but those who gather little by little will increase it.Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.
When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but the prudent are restrained in speech.Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved.But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.

Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?
