Bible Verses about 'Whoever'
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” | Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” |
For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh. | For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. |
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will save it. | If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. |
It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant. | But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. |
And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.” | Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.” |
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it. | If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. |
He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life. | Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. |
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it. | If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. |
Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. | To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction. |
For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” | For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” |
The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. | Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. |
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in that which is to come. | Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come. |
Whoever denies the Son doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also. | Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. |

But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. |
