Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.
As you don’t know what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child; even so you don’t know the work of God who does all.Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness.
Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding.Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the hearts.People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.
While we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.
Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil.But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.
The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’ or your work, ‘He has no hands’?What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’
Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding.Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.
Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth.Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.
Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.

Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.”
