You are a good person (3/4)

Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Therefore you are great, O Lord God; for there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
The Lord is with you, while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.
Better is a little that the righteous person has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.
When they bring you to trial and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say; but say whatever is given you at that time, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated. But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now I would remind you, brothers and sisters, of the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you in turn received, in which also you stand, through which also you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message that I proclaimed to you—unless you have come to believe in vain. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
