| So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting. | So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless. |
| And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. | If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. |

| And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts. | I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments. |

Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed! |
| For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. |
| Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil. | Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways. |
| Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. | So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. |
| You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word. | You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope. |
| Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. | Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. |
| I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and follow them.
