Do not forsake your friend or the friend of your father, and do not run to your brother’s house when troubles befall you; far better is a friend nearby than a brother who is far away. Proverbs 27:10	Do not forsake your friend or the friend of your parent; do not go to the house of your kindred in the day of your calamity. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, nor shall you rebuke your brother in any way, lest you bear sin because of him. You might say to yourself, “How can we know that the Lord did not speak the message?” If what the prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord is not true and it does not happen, then the message was not proclaimed by the Lord. The prophet has spoken presumptuously, you should not fear him. Deuteronomy 18:21-22	You may say to yourself, “How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken?” If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken.
