And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. | And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. |
Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. | As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. |
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. | And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. | I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. |
